For the first time in months, I tuned in (via the Internet) to the radio station I used to listen to before I relocated to an ex-most liveable city. I haven't previously heard a lot of the songs that were played (I haven't been listening to much FM radio; and anyway, oddly enough no rock station is broadcast in this city), and I didn't expect to hear a saccharine DJ whose favorite words apparently include "anyhow". But what really grabbed my attention was an ad for U2's Vertigo concert. In Manila.

I stopped stir-frying to listen closely. Should I start praising the powers that be for no longer snubbing Manila?

Alas, it was too good to be true.

Yes, it was U2's Vertigo Tour. Live - on the Live Screen. Whatever that is.

"Anyhow," I'm grateful for being reminded of one of the reasons I wanted to be where I now am. I did get to see U2 live. Period.

Now if I can only remember the other reasons.
